Nicholas Edward Hoying

Nicholas (Nick) Edward Hoying, age 64, of Spring Hill, FL passed away Monday, November 25, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio to Leonard Roman and Rosalie Ann (Thompson) Hoying. 

He is survived by his siblings, Theresa (Siah) Brown, Jeanette Perkins, Andrew (Sue) Hoying, Joseph (Cheryl) Hoying, Gregory Hoying, Helen (Jerry) Gornes, John (Donna) Hoying, Loretta (Randy) Smith, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Nick attended Patterson Co-op High School, Dayton, Ohio through 1977 and graduated from Hernando High School, Brooksville, Florida in 1978. He also attended PascoHernando Community College, Spring Hill, Florida studying electronics. Nick started as a mail handler at Dayton Power & Light Company, Dayton, Ohio while attending Patterson Co-op and later worked in construction while studying in college. 

Nick had a love for music, his nickname the ‘music man’ designated by friends, would always have either a Walkman, radio, some sort of media player or streaming service on tv playing.
